Both camps are situated in a private concession within the Chobe Enclave on the western boundary of Chobe National Park. With stunning views of the endless vistas and lagoons of the Linyanti River system Linyanti Ebony is a 'camp within a camp'. With its own team comprising of a professional guide, chef, waiter and housekeeper it is a totally self-contained camp that prides itself on its intimate atmosphere, warm personalised service and great guiding. Designed with families in mind activities can be adapted to suit the children thus keeping the whole family happy.
With just eight beds the camp is set on raised decking overlooking the Linyanti marsh. The well-appointed accommodation comprises three twin bedded tents and one family tent all of which have en-suite shower facilities. The dining and lounge area is under canvas and features a small splash pool.
The Linyanti area is known for its population of elephant and buffalo that congregate in vast numbers, especially during the dry season months of July to October. Other game species that may be seen in the area include the stately sable, rare roan, lion, leopard, wild dog, and a variety of the plains game. The rare and elusive sitatunga antelope, red lechwe, hippo and crocodile can be found in the surrounding marshes. Birding is outstanding with species ranging from the Okavango specials to a high concentration of raptors. Due the recent advent of year round water Linyanti Ebony is able to offer both water and land activities. This means guests are able to enjoy game drives, bush walks, mokoro and boating excursions along picturesque waterways and channels as well as catch and release fishing.
