Singita Lebombo Lodge, Kruger National Park, South Africa
Singita Lebombo Lodge is positioned on a sheer cliff top overlooking the N'wanetsi River, on an exclusive 15,000 hectare concession east of Satara, within the remote eastern boundary of the world famous Kruger National Park, bordering Mozambique. The design of the Lodge truly is one of a kind, set against sheer cliffs faces. The main building has an open-plan lounge and bar area with sweeping wooden decks overlooking the wide African expanses below. There is also a library, a world-class wine cellar, a traditional boma, a gymnasium, health spa and an inviting swimming pool.
The 15 secluded suites are tucked between the boulders of the Lebombo Mountains and the giant Euphorbia trees. Their contemporary finishes feature a mix of wooden textures, the open plan bathrooms have outdoor showers and the game viewing decks have an enticing day bed. The ceiling-to-floor glass walls of the suites enhance the elevated 180 degree views.
