Cabanas is the most relaxed and casual of all the Sun City's hotels, situated just above the lake, quite removed from the rest of the Sun City complex. The Cabanas open out onto lush gardens, a swimming pool and an informal "Treasure Island" pool bar, where light daytime snacks are offered. Hearty breakfasts and themed buffets are served in the Palm Terrace Restaurant.
The 380 Cabanas are built on 2 levels with rooms on the ground floor and first floor located around the main reception and restaurant area. Vibrant colours are used in the decor of the rooms, accentuating the relaxed and fun atmosphere. The Family Cabanas are larger than the Standard Cabanas, accommodating up to 4 people. All rooms include air-conditioning, telephone, radio, satellite television, mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities and en-suite bathrooms.
The Cabanas are ideal for families traveling with young children. Water World is just a short walk away for wind-surfing, jet-skiing and water-skiing. Other facilities include tennis, squash, a children's adventure playground and Animal World as well as kids programme including the teenagers "Club Chirp".
