September

The 1st of September heralds the arrival of spring and in South Africa this means it’s a month of countryside festivals and fairs.  Spend a leisurely couple of days exploring Route 62 and join in the fun of the fair!

Although the first whales arrive in June, the Hermanus Whale Festival, the only Enviro-Arts festival in South Africa, is held annually to celebrate the return of the Southern Right whales to the waters of Walker Bay and our magnificent environment and of course the arrival of Spring!
