Thornybush Game Reserve

The Thornybush Game Reserve is 11 500 hectares of pristine African bushveld in the Olifants Valley near the Town of Hoedspruit. The reserve is adjacent to the Timbavati Game Reserve and borders the world famous Kruger National Park, making it a premier game viewing area, with a huge diversity of mammal and bird species.
The reserve is predominantly open savannah, which is prime habitat for healthy cheetah and white rhino populations. Continued efforts to develop a perfect ecological balance of game variety, have seen the introduction of Eland, the largest of the antelope family. This region offers a near perfect year round climate, chilly winter evenings and refreshing summer rainfall.
