Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve

Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, Zimbabwe

The secluded and untouched Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve consists of 130,000 acres of pristine wilderness in the south-eastern corner of Zimbabwe. Its unusually diverse habitat of rocky outcrops, cathedral like Mopane forests and majestic 'upside down' Baobab trees makes it a precious breeding sanctuary for endangered species such as the Roan and sable antelope as well as black rhino. The reserve with over 100 rock art sites that date back more than 2000 years is also a haven for birds and the Malilangwe dam contains trophy-sized bass to tempt keen anglers.
